Ryan likes questions that no one can answer. Today's artificial intelligence remains static; unable to autonomously adapt to or learn from incoming data. Ryan's PhD work at Oxford concerns this exact problem - 'Continual Learning'. His work at Vividata is to bring such intelligence to an industry where it is most needed. His approach to the open question builds on formal language theory, statistical physics and optimisation dynamics.
Ryan received his MEng from the University of Oxford, at the Visual Geometry Group. Ryan is an elite 400m athlete, competing at international levels.
BIO
